Besides holding an LL.B (Honours) and a Master of Arts degree in International Tourism and Aviation Management, I also hold a Professional Data Protection Officer Certification, obtained at the University of Maastricht – European Centre for Privacy and Cybersecurity, Faculty of Law (ECPC-B DPO), and a CIPP/E certification from the International Association of Privacy Professionals. I keep an updated Continuing Professional Development log, and currently, I am pursuing a Doctorate in law at the University of Reading with a research focus on EU Data Protection and Privacy law. Furthermore, I am a certified England and Wales Paralegal, Fellow of the Institute of Paralegals (F.Inst.Pa.) and a member of the Professional Paralegal Register (PPR Tier 4), specialised in IT, Data Protection and Privacy Law.

The role of Data Protection Officer (DPO) is a business security leadership role mandated by the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
